J.A.M JUST ABOUT MUSIC Was formed in 1999 under the direction Clarence Smith a Smooth Jazz band with the versatility to perform all genres of music with a signature sound of taking Jazz R&B and other styles of music and adding our own signature touch to each song to show our own muscianship to enhance our music with that personal touch Alphonso McDuffie the band musical director on keyboards arranges the the musical twist along with Robert Cunningham lead guitarist adding a unique sound to give the band that personal touch the strong And jazzy soulful sound of Matthew Horwitch on saxophone leads up front Clarence Smith on bass and John Turner on drums bringing the foundational sound that keeps the sound filling and exciting throughout the years the band has played and headline numerous shows throughout the Cleveland Akron area Colleges Corporate Weddings and Night clubs throughout the city and state
