The Cummings Center's Institute for Human Science and Culture is honored to welcome anthropologist, historian, and scholar Dr. Joe Stahlman to present "Indigenous Ways of Knowing Through Objects." The free lecture will explore ethical collaboration, knowledge sharing, and repatriation of Indigenous materials in museums. By framing repatriation as a dialogue, Dr. Stahlman aims to demystify the process and highlight its potential for positive and lasting change.
The event includes lunch, which will be provided for all attendees. Lunch will be served at 12:00pm, and the lecture will begin at 12:30pm. All are welcome, but registration is required.
