Preserve our waterways and Akron’s history along the Ohio & Erie Canal!
Join Cascade Locks Park Association on October 3 from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. for a Fall Canal Cleanup.
Light refreshments will be provided by Dunkin’ Donuts.
Expect to get wet, so wear appropriate clothing. Waiters, water moccasins, or an old pair of shoes are advisable. Some areas are steep to enter. Tools will be provided.
This is a rain or shine opportunity - unless weather is severe; and a chance for scouts and students to earn service hours! Children under 18 must be accompanied by an adult.
