Adapting 2D artwork for animation
Visual Artist Amber Kempthorn will discuss the transition in her drawing practice as she shares the last three years of work on her first animated film, Ordinary Magic: A Sunday in the Cuyahoga Valley, which visualizes British composer Benjamin Britten’s Four Sea Interludes. Kempthorn won a $54,000 Knight Arts Challenge matching grant in 2019.
