Headed downtown to cheer on the runners of the Akron Marathon on Saturday? Here's what is open early + some special Marathon programming.
Street Craftery is offering a Marathon Weekend candle making deal. On Friday & Saturday, pour your own custom-scented Classic Candle for just $26.20.

EARLY SUSTENANCE:
Sweet Mary's Bakery will be open at 5 am
Ilić Café will be open at 6 am
Akron Coffee Roasters will be open at 6 am
Bar Phoenix & The Phoenix Room will be open at 6 am with coffee, breakfast specials, mimosas and more
Akronym Brewing will be open at 7 am with breakfast food specials, award-winning craft beer, coffee from Akron Coffee Roasters, non-alcoholic options, and a free water station
Barley House Akron will be open at 10 am
We'll be adding more as we find out about them!
⚠️Park smart on Friday & Saturday:⚠️There will be road closures for the Marathon, along with No Parking zones. Don't get towed, check the Road Closure Grid and park smart(ly): https://www.akronmarathon.org/road-closures/

🚫 S. Main St. between Bowery St. and State St. beginning at 8 am
🚫 W. Bowery St. between W. State St. and W. Exchange St. 2:30 pm – 7 pm
🚫 Rt. 59 East I-76 East to N. Main St. 5:30 pm – 7 pm
🚫 S. High St. between MLK Blvd and E. Mill St. beginning at 6:30 pm (ALL cars need to be cleared from High St. by 6 pm Friday)
🚫 No parking in the High/Market Parking Deck (next to the library) after 5 pm on Friday
