Downtown Akron Partnership Events Vendor Applications

Apply to be a vendor at one or more of the 2026 events presented by Downtown Akron Partnership (DAP).
Read each application carefully to be sure you understand what kinds of vendors we are looking for. Each application is specific to that event: to apply for multiple events, fill out multiple applications.

Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis. For more information, prices, and application deadlines, click on the individual events listed below.

Space is limited. DAP reserves the right to decline the application of any vendor, organization, or business.

Saturday, April 4, 2026 • Downtown Akron Sakura Festival 

The sixth annual Downtown Akron Sakura Festival will celebrate Japanese culture and the 470 Japanese cherry blossom trees that bloom every spring along the Ohio & Erie Canal Towpath Trail. This event is free to the public. Last year, this event had more than 5,500 attendees. If you would like to learn more about last year's festival, click here.

Sunday, June 7, 2026 • Downtown Akron Juneteenth Celebration

The fifth annual Downtown Akron Juneteenth Celebration will celebrate Black and African American culture and commemorate June 19, 1865 with activities, performers, live music, crafts and historical engagements. This event is free to the public. If you would like to learn more about last year's celebration, click here.
