Six-Time World Record Holder Dinesh Sunar to Attempt a 7th in Downtown Akron

June 22, 2022, Akron, Ohio — Nepali resident of North Hill in Akron, Ohio, Dinesh Sunar already has 6 World Records for gymnastic feats such as "Most twisting backflips off a wall in 30 seconds (Parkour) and "Most standing full twist backflips in 30 seconds." He will attempt another record on Saturday, June 25, at 7 p.m. in downtown Akron. More information is available at https://bit.ly/PhutureB_Skate.

Sunar will try to set the World Record for most full twist, back somersault burpees in 60 seconds. The attempt will take place at 7 p.m., during Phuture Boogie Roller Skating on Cascade Plaza. Sunar will have the achievement recorded on video from multiple angles, with a stopwatch visible to record the time. The documentary evidence will be sent to Guinness World Records for certification.

Dinesh Sunar is a gymnast, parkour athlete, and instructor, and has said his ultimate goal is to secure a feature story on Netflix, to honor his home country, Nepal, as well as his adopted home in Akron, Ohio.
