Akron/Summit CVB Captures Five Ohio Travel Association Ruby Awards
October 19, 2022, Akron, OH: The Akron/Summit Convention & Visitors Bureau captured two (2) 1st place RUBY Awards (Recognizing Uncommon Brilliance Yearly) and three (3) 2nd place Citations of Excellence presented by the Ohio Travel Association during their annual conference, October 12-14, 2022.
The Bureau’s “Grab Life Right Here” promotional video and “330 Shirt Day” spirit of community outreach initiative both received 1st place RUBY Awards. The Bureau’s “Summit Brew Path” targeted marketing campaign, “Grab Life Right Here” marketing campaign landing page/website, and “2021 The Year In Review” annual report, each received a 2nd place Citation of Excellence.
Additionally, the “330 Shirt Day” spirit of community outreach initiative was one of only five award entries (from a total of 183 entries) recognized for a near perfect score from the judges.
