Akron/Summit Convention & Visitors Bureau promotes “Wear Your 330 Shirt to Work Day” on March 30
The day celebrates 330 pride through a dress down day while promoting local businesses and organizations.
March 15, 2023, Akron, Ohio — We all love a casual day at work, and a day where we can wear our favorite t-shirt is even better.
The Akron/Summit Convention & Visitors Bureau is asking all 330 residents and employers to show their area pride by wearing locally themed t-shirts to work on Thursday, March 30 – 330 Day.
People are encouraged to find their old favorites like high school, little league, or local band tees. It doesn’t matter what kind of shirt it is as long as it represents the 330 – that makes the options endless. If desired, new shirts can be purchased from one of the many great local t-shirt producers or retailers.
Everyone is encouraged to post selfies and photos of coworkers on social media using the hashtag, #330ShirtDay, to showcase their favorite local shirts.
“Dress down days are far and few in between here at the Akron/Summit Convention & Visitors Bureau,” said bureau President & CEO, Gregg Mervis. “I can think of no better way to show our 330 pride.”
There will be a contest for a chance to win $330 in local gift cards. Don’t miss out! To be eligible for the contest, photos must:
- Include a person wearing a 330, locally-themed shirt
- Be posted to Facebook, Instagram, or Twitter on March 30
