AMATS Presents Two Views of the FutureIf you’re interested in what the future holds for transportation in the Greater Akron area, then highlight March 11 through April 11 on your calendar. That’s when the Akron Metropolitan Area Transportation Study (AMATS) will present the area’s four-year Draft Transportation Improvement Program (TIP) and long-range Draft Transportation Outlook 2050 for public review and comment.

Akron Municipal Courthouse Installs Universal Changing StationThe Akron Municipal Courthouse has installed its first universal changing station in the Caregiver Room, located on the first floor, to serve those with disabilities and medical conditions as well as their caregivers. This is a private, secure space for nursing mothers and now, those wishing to utilize this changing station.

City of Akron Kicks Off Next Phase of Akron Innerbelt Planning with an Open House on March 18The City of Akron is inviting community members to join the next phase of the Innerbelt Master Planning Process with an open house on March 18 from 5pm to 7:30pm at the Akron Urban League (440 Vernon Odom Blvd.). The theme of this open house is “Goals & Ideas.”
