The University of Akron Health & Fitness Expo is Friday, September 24, 2010 from 11:00 a.m. until 9:00 p.m. at
John S. Knight Center. The expo features more than 80 exhibitor booths. Race registration for the Akron Martathon will be available and race packets may be picked up. Official race merchandise will be sold featuring Brooks licensed apparel. The event is free and open to the public.
A Pasta Party will be hosted by Summit Athletic Running Club from 5 p.m. until 8 p.m. at the John S. Knight Center. The cost is $15.00 per person (free to children 3 and under).
Runners Feeding Others will be hosting a 'Fill The Bus' non-perishable food drive in front of the John S. Knight Center as part of the University of Akron Health & Fitness Expo. All donations support the meal programs and food pantry of Akron's First Grace United Church of Christ.
