Location: Akron Art Museum
Andrew Borowiec's recent exploration has pushed him beyond the confines of black and white photography, allowing him to experiment with computers and digital printing in order to better document the rapid changes taking place throughout the heartland. The change allows him to magnify minute details, such as the switch from wood to plastic siding in the McMansion housing developments, more accurately than ever before.
Borowiec will elaborate on this switch and discuss the big ideas behind his new body of work currently on view at the museum.
This lecture is FREE. Seating is available on a first-come, first-serve basis in the Charles and Jane Lehner Auditorium.
