Now in it’s fourth year, the Light-UP Lantern Festival in University Park has amazed young and old for one brilliant night the past three years. Please join us OCTOBER 13th, 2012, on Crouse, Kirn, and Spicer Street, surrounding Don Drumm Studios & Gallery.
The festival brings together the young at heart, both small and large, for a magical night of the lantern parade, music, and visual and performing arts. In the months leading up to the festival, the community can prepare to participate through various workshops, lead by Leandra Drumm and other volunteers, to create their own lanterns, or other creations. If you aren’t able to make one of the events, don’t fret! You can find lantern making instructions on this site, or just show up on Festival Night and enjoy the spectacles, or stop by the lantern booth and make one on the spot.
You honestly have never seen so many ingenious and creative ideas sparkling in the sky! Please join us for a night of music, merriment and above all, art.
