The Summit County Italian-American Festival returns Thursday, July 12- Saturday, July 14, highlighting the food, beer & wine, music and traditions of Italy. The 2018 festival culminates with the best fireworks show in Akron, happening at 10 p.m. on Saturday, July 14.
The Summit County Italian-American Festival will feature authentic Italian vendors, with booths up and down Main Street; headlining bands, including Satisfaction-The Rolling Stones Tribute Band (Friday) and Lights Out- Frankie Valli Tribute Band on Saturday; The Andrea Rose Teodosio Memorial 5K Run and 1 Mile Walk; A breakfast honoring all of the scholarship recipients, Mass at St. Bernard’s Church, a homemade wine contest and fireworks.
Festival proceeds benefit the Council of Italian American Societies Scholarship Fund and nonprofits in Summit County.
