On-sale date coincides with the release of the highly-anticipated promotions calendar
The Akron RubberDucks announced today single-game tickets will go on-sale starting Mon., Feb. 19 at 10 a.m. Tickets will be available online at www.akronrubberducks.com and by phone at 330-253-5151.
For the first time, the single-game on-sale date will coincide with the release of the 2018 promotional calendar, which is annually filled with some of Minor League Baseball’s most exciting, unique, fun-filled promotions. Each day from Feb. 19 to Feb. 23, a different month of the promotional calendar will be unveiled through the RubberDucks’ social media feeds and team website.
Single-game reserved tickets start as low as $11 for adults, $10 for children 12 and under or adults 60 and over, and $5 for general admission. Children three years old and younger are free, if they do not require a seat. There are also seats available for $25 in the premium Homerville section in Tiki Terrace and $17 tickets are available for the full-service Duck Row seats.
“We can’t wait for the 2018 season to kick off!” said RubberDucks General Manager Jim Pfander. “Fans will see that we have added to our legacy of building Canal Park into the epicenter of affordable family fun in Northeast Ohio with an amazing 70-game lineup of promotions, top-notch baseball, and unmatched customer service,” said Pfander. “We are excited for Opening Night (April 13) when we can pull back the curtain and show fans 2018 will be an amazing season!”
The Canal Park box office will open April 2 at 10 a.m. and it will be open on non-game days Monday through Friday from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. and closed on weekends. During Monday through Saturday home game dates, the box office will open from 10 a.m. until the end of the game. On Sunday home dates, it will open at 11 a.m. until the end of the game. Tickets are not available for purchase in the Canal Park team store.
Homerville is in front of the right field Tiki Bar in the Tiki Terrace, consists of the two rows of 11 swivel-seats with drink rails. These seats provide some of the best views in Canal Park. Homerville tickets include either two 16-ounce beers or four 24-ounce soft drinks, which are redeemable at the Tiki Bar. Duck Row has amazing close-to-the-field views, and those tickets also include a full wait service, seats with a 360-degree swivel capabilities, and a drink rail. A limited number of the Duck Row seats are available.
The Akron RubberDucks are the Double-A affiliate of the Cleveland Indians and defending Eastern League champions. The 2018 season will be the franchise’s 22nd since moving to Akron. The 21st year of Canal Park kicks off with the Home Opener on Friday, April 13, at 6:35 p.m. vs. Trenton Thunder.
