Ron White loves to work while the action is hot. As a teacher of art and yoga Ron is used to the energy and flux of action and research. The research is in progress while visitors observe. He will ask opinions and look at anatomy - everyone is a model for an ear, neck muscle, eyelid, hand gesture. Sculptures may not be the focus of the night. It might be on a large scale mural. The intensity of the high contrast brings the content of the work right to the forefront.
About Ron white’s Sculpture and Mural Gallery
Ron White is still using ice, clay, pastel and charcoal. Ron pulls you in and opens your eyes to large scale high contrast murals and life size, or larger portrait busts with a distorted play on humor, politics, and human experiences. Ron has been an Akron artist for 20 years after his dual/masters studies at Kent and Akron Universities. The awareness of the art culture continues to grow as time permits. He is a member of the Akron Society of Artists and the Artists of Rubber City. Ron is a public school art teacher and teaches 6-8 yoga classes a week while keeping his art, art studio, and ice carving in constant action.
