The Aeros announced today that Menches Brothers Restaurant will not be returning for 2010, however The Wing Warehouse will now be stepping up to the plate. The Wing Warehouse at Canal Park location is set to open its doors on Monday, April 12 and be open Sunday - Wednesday 11 a.m. - Midnight and Thursday-Saturday 11 a.m. - 2 a.m.
In December of 2001, Wing Warehouse was born. Their goal: to create a family sports bar and grill with great food and drinks and the best entertainment around. So what better venue to have than The Wing Warehouse location stationed at Canal Park? Aeros Vice President Jeff Auman said, "We are very excited about partnering with The Wing Warehouse and think that it is going to be a perfect partnership because both the Aeros and Wing Warehouse focus on providing entertainment for the whole family."
This announcement comes as Menches Brothers will now be based solely out of their two other locations in Green and Massillon. "We established a great partnership with Menches Brothers during the nine years they were here, but look forward to working and creating that same relationship with The Wing Warehouse," Auman said.
As a winner of Fox 8's Hot list for "Best Wings" two years in a row, Wing Warehouse now has even more wing sauce flavors. Paul Walker, Owner and Operator of Wing Warehouse at Canal Park, says "When we were approached about the opportunity to come out and open a restaurant at Canal Park, we couldn't think of a better location."
Wing Warehouse, who recently merged with Scorchers, is now one of the largest sports bar chains in Northeast Ohio.
