WhiteSpace Continues to Grow in Recognition, Revenue and Staffing
WhiteSpace Creative, an Akron, Ohio-based integrated marketing resource firm, was recently recognized for its community service and leading revenue and employment growth by Inside Business, a magazine for business professionals in Northeast Ohio.
In the January 2008 issue of Inside Business, WhiteSpace was named one of 23 Best of Business honorees, winning Best Community Project for its annual CreateAthon® event. The National CreateAthon, founded by the South Carolina-based agency RIGGS, is a 24-hour marathon dedicated to developing pro-bono marketing materials for nonprofit organizations. WhiteSpace, the exclusive CreateAthon agency for the Akron/Canton/Cleveland area, produced $87,000 worth of pro-bono materials, ranging from event materials, websites, online games, direct-mail programs and brochures, for 18 nonprofits during its 2007 event alone.
WhiteSpace was also recently credited as one of the top-performing companies in Northeast Ohio by Inside Business magazine. Awarding WhiteSpace its fifth consecutive NEO Success Award, Inside Business has been honoring Northeast Ohio's top-performing companies for more than a decade. The award winners are selected based on prosperous growth, increasing revenues and employees, and fostering of economic growth in the region.
