Cascade Locks Park is located just minutes north of downtown Akron. Parking is available at the Cascade Valley Trailhead, located on North Street just west of the intersection of North Howard and North Street. Nestled between locks 10-16 of the Ohio & Erie Canal Towpath Trail, it is the perfect place to enjoy nature without leaving the city. Cascade Locks Park has seen major changes and growth, and has been a catalyst in the redevelopment of the North Howard Street district. CLPA continues to serve in the development of the area with its current expansion of the park with the Schumacher Cascade Mills Site.
