On Wednesday, July 13, 2011, from 5-7 p.m. join the Ohio & Erie Canalway Coalition for the opening of a display of Ken Robinson’s photographs “Scenes along the Canalway.” Ken donates much of his time preserving memories of Ohio & Erie Canalway Coalition events taking photos used in newsletters, presentations, and on our web page. Visit the Richard Howe House, 47 West Exchange Street, Akron, for the opening or come to see the photos through July, August and September. The opening will feature Ken’s pictures, hammer dulcimer & guitar music by Angelicus, and light foods. Please call the Ohio & Erie Canalway Coalition at 330-374-5657 or e-mail mlewis@ohioeriecanal.org to make a reservation.
Ken resides in The City of Green, Ohio. Travel, landscape & outdoor photography are his subjects. Ken is employed as a Configurations Coordinator at Hendrickson Trailer Suspension Systems in Canton, Ohio. Together with photography, he enjoys travel, film festivals, and attending art & cultural events. Ohio & Erie Canalway Coalition appreciates the time Ken has devoted to taking pictures at events.
This is the first photography collection that will be on display at the Howe House. In the fall, another volunteer photographer, Peter Miller, will display pictures of events & places along the Ohio & Erie Canalway.
