Ghosts, goblins and galleries, oh my! Fall means it’s once again time for the Akron Art Museum’s annual Trick-or-Treat on South High Street family event, Thursday, October 27 from 6:30 to 8:30 pm. Treat your little goblins to a quirky scavenger hunt with art supply treasures in the museum’s galleries and hands-on art making activities. Costumes are encouraged.
Admission for the Trick-or-Treat is $5 per family and includes activities and gallery admission. Reservations are required and can be made by visiting the museum’s calendar of events at www.AkronArtMuseum.org.
That evening, teens and older audiences will enjoy the Bride of the Freakishly Short Animation Festival presented by Akron Film. Starting at 7 pm, enjoy animated, Halloween-themed independent shorts from around the world. This program is free to the public with first-come, first-serve seating. Seats will fill up so be sure to arrive early!
Family Drop-In Day support is made possible by a gift from Dominion Foundation.
