The Rubber City Rollergirls 2010 season kicks off Saturday March 13th at the John S. Knight Center in a rematch against the Killamazoo Derby Darlins! The doors open at 5 p.m. The bout starts at 6 p.m.
New this season! The Rubber City Rollergirls will have bleacher seating for a better viewing experience, select bouts will be televised and the Barley House will serve as the new after party location!
The team is also stepping up its game this season, having recently been accepted to the Women’s Flat Track Derby Association’s (WFTDA) “Apprentice Program.” WFTDA is the sanctioning body over the sport of women’s roller derby. Upon completion of the program Rubber City Rollergirls will become fully WFTDA sanctioned and eligible to compete for national rankings.
