Rubber City Grill, located at 1 W. Exchange St. inside Lux NiteClub, will open Sunday, February 7 at 4 p.m. for the Super Bowl. The Sports Bar and Grill will feature an extensive menu of pizza, wings, burgers, sandwiches, wraps, salads and steaks. The menu includes typical bar food of pepperoni pizza and burgers, but also features specialty pizzas and grilled paninis. The entire menu will be available for dine in and carry out. Rubber City Grill will serve lunch, dinner and late night food with kitchen hours Monday-Friday, 11 a.m.-2 a.m. and Saturday, 5 p.m.-2 a.m. Coming soon will be a late night menu available Thursday-Saturday until 4 a.m.
The interior will feature Hi-Def TV's along with Akron's historical and sports memorabilia. Billiards, darts and golden tee are available. Happy Hour, featuring a dollar off all drinks, is from 4-9 p.m. with a full selection of liquor, draft and bottled beers. There will also be daily food specials that are great for any budget.
