FUNDRAISER FOR FAMILY OF JOSH MIKTARIAN
A benefit concert to raise funds for the family of Officer Josh Miktarian is scheduled for September 13 at the Akron Civic Theatre. The July shooting death of the Twinsburg police officer has spurred friends to organize the concert with the help of local restaurants and businesses who have contributed to the effort.
All proceeds generated from the concert and raffles will go to Holly and Thea Miktarian through the Twinsburg Police Association.
A Very Barium Tribute to Josh Miktarian is a special concert coordinated and promoted by his band mates and close friends.
Tickets are $15. The concert will feature performances from local bands Cyde/Skin, Seattle, Lower GI, Akron and District Pipe Band and a special performance from the remaining members of Barium, Officer Miktarian's band. Miktarian was both a musician and a supporter of live music.
