Howard Street Jazz Express
Mark your calendar for Cascade Locks Park Association’s (CLPA) sizzlin’ hot Howard Street Jazz Express on Saturday, August 28th, then join us under the tent at Northside Station for a reception with flavorful food and drink, beginning at 5:45 p.m. The train departs at 7pm and heads north towards Brecksville, through the National Park, while you sit back and enjoy some of the hottest jazz around. Tickets are limited, so reserve your seats early!
Coach tickets are $90 roundtrip ($100 after 8/14), and include live jazz in each car, snacks and beverages. The parlor car tickets are $135 individual or $250/couple and offer plush seating with tables, additional bar service, our signature mojito cocktail and hors d’oeuvres.
Food provided by Kirbie’s Meats and Catering. Sponsors are North Akron Savings Bank and Thirsty Dog Brewing Company.
All proceeds benefit CLPA, a non-profit 501(c)3 whose mission is to preserve protect and promote the industrial commercial and cultural heritage of the Cascade Locks Park along locks 10 – 16 of the Ohio & Erie Canal.
