One Night, Three Parties

Third annual SWITCH fundraiser to benefit the Akron Art Museum
Saturday, November 7, 2009, 8 pm – 1 am

The Akron Art Museum’s wildly popular fundraiser, SWITCH, is back for its third year with three distinctively hip parties, once again wrapped into one unforgettable night at the world-renowned museum.

On Saturday, November 7, 2009, join co-chairs Matt McCallum and Katie Albrecht for “Rock Around the Clock,” “Party On Dude!” and finally “miTunes.” Although the theme of the music, featured dancers and décor will change three times during the evening, from ‘50s Rock and Roll to ‘90s party hits to present-day favorites, the atmosphere and attire will remain the same – “upscale chic.”

“I’m truly honored to co-chair this year’s event with Matt,” said Albrecht. “We have high hopes that the community will support the museum by helping us make this fundraiser a huge success.”

McCallum agrees, adding, “SWITCH isn’t your typical black-tie fundraiser – it is a big, chic, fun, hip party. It’s a great way for people of all ages to come together to help support the arts in our community.”
