A temporary traffic signal at the intersection of W. Market Street and Rand Avenue will be put into full operation today, March 27, according to the Traffic Engineering Division of the City of Akron. This signal is needed due to the partial closure of Dart Avenue for the Superblock parking deck expansion. This signal will only be in operation during this construction. The installation of this signal was based on Warrant of Peak Hours Volume according to the Ohio Manual of Uniform Traffic Control Devices.
