
Cascade Locks Park Association’s (CLPA) is looking for local artists to participate in Canal Day at Cascade Locks Park. The event is being held July 3rd, 2010 from 11 a.m.-4 p.m. in the Mustill Store yard and will include local artists, vendors, musical entertainment, and the second annual rubber duck derby. Fee for an artist booth is $40, please contact Andrea Victor if you are interested.

Cascade Locks Park is located just minutes north of downtown Akron. Parking is available at the Cascade Valley Trailhead, located on North Street just west of the intersection of North Howard and North Street. Nestled between locks 10-16 of the Ohio & Erie Canal Towpath Trail, it is the perfect place to enjoy nature without leaving the city.
