A new business will be opening in Downtown Akron. Jimmy’s, a new bar, is located at 376 South Main Street.
The grand opening of Jimmy’s will be New Years Eve. Jimmy’s is a cozy upscale lounge. The décor is warm and quaint with a big city feel. Exposed brick walls are accented by hard wood floors. The marble bar top, unique artwork and couches further enhance the small club experience.
Jimmy’s is the brain child of new business partners Scott J. Brewer and Jimmy O. Salaheddine. Both men are second generation in separate but similar family businesses. The families of Scott Brewer and Jimmy O. Salaheddine have been staples in Akron’s nightlife for decades. Scott and Jimmy have collaborated to create a unique concept for the Downtown Akron entertainment district. Jimmy was 95% of the creative process while Scott stressed the functionality of the new business.
Jimmy’s will feature domestic and craft beers, cutting edge cocktails and premium wines. Jimmy’s is a place to relax, enjoy fabulous cocktails, and entertaining conversation, in a cozy upscale environment.
