Mention a species of jellyfish and admission to the Akron Zoo is free today, the last day to see the jellyfish exhibit.
Visitors need to mention one of the zoo's eight species of jellyfish that have been seen by more than 1.1 million visitors since the exhibit opened June 7, 2008.
There's also a tank visitors can reach into to touch jellyfish.
The eight species are Australian spotted jellies, blue blubbers, comb jellies, Japanese sea nettles, moon jellies, Pacific sea nettles, umbrella jellies and upside down jellies.
The zoo, at 500 Edgewood Avenue, just west of downtown Akron, will open another aquatic exhibit in the spring featuring animals that live on or near reefs, like octopus, clown fish, eels and lion fish.
