First Night Akron's Teen Battle of the Bands Finalist Ready for Battle

Vote for the Winner of the Teen Battle of the Bands on December 31 at First Night Akron
 
After a month of voting with a total well over 2,000 votes, the slots for First Night Akron's Teen Battle of the Bands have been filled! The finalists playing at the John S. Knight Center on New Year's Eve will include the bands MessyFace, Elephant Society, Noize from the Basement, And then the Stars Fell, and Twin Engine.
 
Each band was asked to create a video presentation that voters could view on the First Night website from November 15-December 13 and vote once per day for which bands should compete on December 31 at the Teen Battle of the Bands at First Night Akron.
 
Visit www.firstnightakron.org/teenbattleofthebands to watch videos from the five finalists. The public will have the chance to vote again, this time for the winner of the Teen Battle of the Bands at the John S. Knight Center from 6:15-11 p.m. during First Night. Audience members will receive a ticket to cast their vote for their favorite band. Votes will be counted and the winning band will perform a final set. The winner of the Teen Battle of the Bands will also be announced on the Mainstage on Main Street in front of Lock 3 during the Countdown Show at 11:30 p.m.
