Teens grades 6-12 are encouraged to participate in “You Are Here Bingo” this summer,June 13-August 6. Teens may pick up a Bingo card at the Fairlawn Bath branch and collect stickers by visiting local attractions throughout the 8 week summer reading program. Several of the local attractions can be found in Downtown Akron, including the Akron Aeros, Akron Art Museum, Akron Glass Works, Marble Museum, Richard Howe House and Rubber City Clothing. The program was developed to encourage teens to explore their community.
Instructions
Pick up the Bingo game card at the Fairlawn Bath Branch Library and your first game sticker. Visit local attractions listed on the card and collect stickers and tickets. When you have filled one row of boxes in an directions (vertical, horizontal or diagonal, present your Bingo card at the Fairlawn Bath Branch Library. You will be entered into a drawing for a local gift basket. You must complete a Bingo and present your game card by August 6 to be entered into the drawing. The first 40 teens to show their completed Bingo card will receive a library backpack.
