Segment will Focus on How Creativity is Taught to Students

The National Inventors Hall of Fame® School...Center for Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM) Learning will host CNN Education Contributor Steve Perry on Thursday, October 7, 2010, to talk with Instructional Leader Traci J. Buckner about how the school uses creativity to solve problems and to feature an ongoing problem based learning (PBL) project.
 
The segment will air at a later date on "Perry's Principles," a series that runs on Anderson Cooper 360?.  Steve Perry is interested in featuring seventh grade learners involved in an invasive species project with the Cuyahoga Valley National Park. The project focuses on invasive plant species and is tied into Ohio content standards, as are all problem-based learning projects at the NIHF-STEM school.
