The Anheuser-Busch Clydesdales will appear in Kent, Hudson and Akron this week.
The draft horses are expected to visit Kent from 5 to 7 p.m. Wednesday. They will be stationed near Home Savings Bank on North Water Street and parade through downtown.
In case of rain, they will appear Thursday instead. Updates are available by calling Main Street Kent at 330-677-8000 or going to http://www.mainstreetkent.org/.
The horses, featured for years in beer advertising campaigns, will visit the Hudson Plaza on state Route 303 in Hudson from 2 to 4 p.m. Friday. They will be stationed in the parking lot.

The horses also will be on display for photos from 3 to 5 p.m. Saturday and 12:30 and 2:30 p.m. Sunday at the 62nd annual Italian-American Council Festival at Lock 3 in downtown Akron. They are expected to parade along South Main Street at 12:30 p.m. Sunday.

The visits are sponsored by Anheuser-Busch and beer distributor House of LaRose.
The Clydesdales weigh about 2,000 pounds each and travel by custom-made tractor-trailer. When they parade, they are outfitted and hitched to a red, white and gold Studebaker-built beer wagon, a process that takes about an hour and a half.
The Clydesdales made their debut for Anheuser-Busch in 1933. August A. Busch Jr. presented the horses and beer wagon to his father to commemorate the first bottle of beer brewed in St. Louis after Prohibition.
