On Monday, December 5, 2011 the Ohio & Erie Canalway Coalition would like to invite you to have dinner at Bricco in downtown Akron between 4:30 and 8:00 p.m. Join us as we celebrate the accomplishments along the Towpath Trail, including the recent opening of the Towpath Trail in downtown Akron, Richard Howe House Towpath Trail Connector Trail, and the $150,000 grant in Tuscarawas County. Bricco, located at 1 W. Exchange Street, at the corner of Exchange and Main, will donate 15% of all food sales from the bar and restaurant for the benefit of the Towpath Trail during those hours. Before you dine at Bricco that evening, the Ohio & Erie Canalway Coalition invites you to visit the Howe House for their annual holiday open house. The open house will be December 5, 2011 from 4:00 to 6:00 p.m. Please come by and enjoy light refreshments and music, as well as pick up your 2011 Howe House special edition ornament which will be available to purchase for $14.95.
