Akron/Summit Convention & Visitors Bureau Receives Two Industry Awards
Akron, Ohio — The Akron/Summit Convention & Visitors Bureau received a RUBY Award and a Citation of Excellence from the Columbus-based, Ohio Travel Association during its annual Conference on Tourism, October 3-15. 2010. Each year, the Ohio Travel Association’s RUBY (Recognizing Uncommon Brilliance) Awards program recognizes marketing excellence in a variety of categories, including print publications. The Bureau captured the 1st Place RUBY Award for the recently published Akron/Summit Destination Planner. The Bureau also received a Citation of Excellence for its 2009 Business & Fiscal Summary.
