2009 CreateAthon® applications now available to local nonprofits

WhiteSpace Creative, an Akron, Ohio-based marketing resource firm, encourages Akron, Canton and Cleveland area nonprofit organizations to apply for its eighth-annual CreateAthon® event. The 24-hour marathon, which provides pro-bono communication and marketing services to select nonprofit organizations, will be held on September 17-18, 2009. Applications, due Friday, July 24, are now available at www.whitespace-creative.com.

Last year, the WhiteSpace CreateAthon produced approximately 30 projects valued at more than $90,000. This included the development of an annual report, event materials, direct-mail programs, brochures, signage, corporate identities, websites, social media programs and media research for 17 local nonprofits:
