The American Cancer Society is excited to announce a new Relay For Life event in Downtown Akron! In cooperation with the Downtown Akron Partnership, the American Cancer Society will host the 2010 Relay For Life of Downtown Akron on Friday June 25th from 10 a.m.-4 p.m. This first of its kind corporate event is geared towards local businesses and organizations in the area. By bringing the relay directly to the "Neighborhood of Downtown Businesses", we are making it easier for you to get involved without taking too much time away from the office. The site will be Lock 3 with a walking path throughout parts of the downtown area. We are currently looking for team captains, volunteers and planning committee members.
