Roller Derby at John S. Knight Center and Clothing Drive for “Project RISE”

Akron’s premier women’s flat track roller derby league presents an evening of action-packed, fast-paced, high-energy fun the whole family can enjoy. It will also include entertainment during half-time.

Akron’s own Rubber City Rollergirls will take on Indiana’s Circle City Socialites!  This event is fun for all ages!

The team will also collect gently used children’s clothing for “Project RISE”, as they prepare for the new school year.  Project RISE is a collaborative effort by the Akron Public Schools and local shelters such as Safe Landing, Battered Women’s Shelter and Haven of Rest, to provide services to homeless children.  PLUS for every person who drops off an item at the door, the Rubber City Rollergirls will donate $1 to Project RISE!

Advance tickets: $8.50 Adults/$5.00 kids 12 & under
At the door: $12.50 Adults/$6.00 kids 12 & under
