Downtown Artwalk

This monthly Artwalk includes two dozen destinations featuring hand-blown glass, pottery, ceramics, paintings, textiles, jewerly, and eclectic house wares that fit every budget! A free trolley runs from 5-10 p.m. with destinations opening their doors between 5 and 6 p.m. Stay tuned for a list of participating businesses.

15 Year First Night Celebration
In celebration of the 15th year of First Night Akron, we will begin selling a 15 Year admission button for $15 that allows people entry to 15 different arts and culture events in the community (including First Night) from September 2010-April 2011. The buttons will be on sale at the Artwalks, online and at a variety of stores and locations throughout the community.

Come take a look at the unique button art and be one of the first people to purchase your 15 year admission button!  The person who purchases the 15th button will receive 2 complementary tickets to the GroundWorks DanceTheater performance at 8 p.m. at the Icehouse Complex (129 N. Summit Street) in Downtown Akron.Enjoy live music this Saturday as well, Tom Guarino will be performing from 5:30-7:30 p.m. at Northside in the Car Gear Parking Lot and Zach will be performing from 7-9 p.m. on High St. in front of WE Gallery/Uncorked Wine Bar.  Bring your family with you to decorate their own 15 that will be on display at First Night Akron 2011.
